Prana Air Ambient Air monitor is CAAQMS (Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System) installed with sensors to detect the concentration of pollutants. Commonly measured pollutants are PM10 and PM2.5, SO2. NO2, O3, H2S, and CO. Prana Air monitor is economical, easy to use, portable, compact, lightweight, and consumes very less time for analysis. The data is shown on a digital screen and provides 24×7 access to analytic results. The real-time data is given in less than 30 seconds with accuracy and precision. It does not demand any after-purchase expenses like filter change, calibrations, etc., and has Wi-Fi, GSM, and RS-485 type connectivity. The data is easily accessible from AQI website and mobile & TV app.
Traditional CAAQMS (Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System) is very big in size comparable to a small room. The system has different analyzers for different parameters such as BAM for Particulate Matter, pulsed UV fluorescence for SO2, chemiluminescence for NO2 and NH3, NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared Technology) for CO2, and UV photometric/ chemiluminescence for O3 and gives real-time data within 20-25 minutes. The system is bulky & huge and hence its portability is restricted. It requires manpower, high maintenance cost, and time to time filter replacements. The data is easily accessible from government websites.

Prana Air’s Ambient Air Quality Monitoring device has three different power sources solar power source, USB source, and 5000 mAh battery. The device has an SD card type of storage with RS485, Wi-Fi, GSM, and NB-IoT connectivity types. Yes, we give a 1-year warranty for the ambient air quality monitor only on manufacturing defects.
Yes, Device Calibration: Usually, the sensors last 3 years without calibration. In case, if you experience a huge drift on the device calculation, the sensor has to be calibrated or changed. In this case, the monitor has to be returned to our premises and the replacement of sensors will be done free of cost if it is under warranty. For out of warranty, the replacement will be done on additional cost.
