Essas part\u00edculas s\u00e3o extremamente pequenas, podendo penetrar profundamente nos pulm\u00f5es e at\u00e9 entrar na corrente sangu\u00ednea, causando diversos problemas de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Estatisticas_Alarmantes_PM25_Mata_70_por_100000_na_India\"><\/span>Estat\u00edsticas Alarmantes: PM2.5 Mata 70 por 100.000 na \u00cdndia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo o Programa das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para o Meio Ambiente, a polui\u00e7\u00e3o por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqi.in\/in\/dashboard\/india\">PM2.5 na \u00cdndia<\/a> \u00e9 motivo de grande preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o, com uma m\u00e9dia anual de 83 \u00b5g\/m3 por pessoa, 16,6 vezes maior que o valor recomendado pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) de 5 \u00b5g\/m3. Esses n\u00fameros n\u00e3o s\u00e3o apenas estat\u00edsticas; eles se traduzem em consequ\u00eancias fatais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apenas em 2019, 70 em cada 100.000 mortes na \u00cdndia foram atribu\u00eddas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5, totalizando 979.682 mortes em todo o pa\u00eds. Essas mortes est\u00e3o relacionadas a diversas doen\u00e7as que contribuem significativamente para a mortalidade em diferentes condi\u00e7\u00f5es de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Carga_de_Doencas_Relacionadas_a_Poluicao_por_PM25_na_India\"><\/span>Carga de Doen\u00e7as Relacionadas \u00e0 Polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5 na \u00cdndia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5 afeta gravemente v\u00e1rias condi\u00e7\u00f5es de sa\u00fade principais:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Doen\u00e7a Pulmonar Obstrutiva Cr\u00f4nica (DPOC)<\/strong>: 30% das mortes por DPOC em 2019 foram devidas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5. A DPOC \u00e9 uma doen\u00e7a inflamat\u00f3ria cr\u00f4nica que obstrui o fluxo de ar dos pulm\u00f5es, dificultando a respira\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Infec\u00e7\u00f5es do Trato Respirat\u00f3rio Inferior<\/strong>: Part\u00edculas finas podem penetrar profundamente nos pulm\u00f5es, causando infec\u00e7\u00f5es. 24% das mortes por infec\u00e7\u00f5es do trato respirat\u00f3rio inferior em 2019 foram atribu\u00eddas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC)<\/strong>: 23% das mortes por AVC foram devidas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5. Essas part\u00edculas podem causar inflama\u00e7\u00e3o e estreitamento dos vasos sangu\u00edneos, levando a um AVC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Doen\u00e7a Isqu\u00eamica do Cora\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>: 22% das mortes por doen\u00e7a isqu\u00eamica do cora\u00e7\u00e3o foram atribu\u00eddas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o prolongada pode induzir muta\u00e7\u00f5es e promover o desenvolvimento de c\u00e2ncer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diabetes Tipo 2<\/strong>: 16% das mortes por diabetes tipo 2 foram associadas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5. Essas part\u00edculas podem causar inflama\u00e7\u00e3o e afetar a sensibilidade \u00e0 insulina e o metabolismo da glicose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Doen\u00e7as Neonatais<\/strong>: 11% das mortes por doen\u00e7as neonatais foram devidas \u00e0 polui\u00e7\u00e3o por PM2.5.
