Seis tipos distintos de neblina s\u00e3o identificados em todo o mundo. Essas got\u00edculas de \u00e1gua t\u00eam a capacidade de permanecer suspensas no ar por horas. A polui\u00e7\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica \u00e9 uma forma intensa de polui\u00e7\u00e3o do ar, composta por v\u00e1rios gases t\u00f3xicos nocivos, como di\u00f3xido de enxofre, fuligem e benzeno. A fuma\u00e7a, que de outra forma estaria pairando mais alto no c\u00e9u, e as part\u00edculas de poeira, que teriam pousado no solo, permanecem suspensas no ar enquanto se misturam com a neblina e geram uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o fotoqu\u00edmica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part\u00edculas de poeira e fuma\u00e7a grudam nas got\u00edculas de \u00e1gua, tornando o nevoeiro mais turvo, e a inala\u00e7\u00e3o de fuma\u00e7a por longos per\u00edodos de tempo pode causar uma variedade de dificuldades, incluindo problemas pulmonares.
