Prana Air Ethanol (EtOH) sensors have been created along with precision and accuracy. The sensor is suitable for both industrial and consumer-grade monitoring. The Ethanol sensor is based on an electrochemical gas sensing technique and has ultra-thin packaging. The sensor is cost-effective and easy to lodge in any device and instruments of EtOH monitoring and regulatory solutions. The sensor is highly precise, robust, have high operational life, and has diversified applications in industrial, commercial, and residential instruments.
The sensor is petite in size and has ultra-thin packaging which enables it to fit into any type of device and instrument.
The ethanol sensor is highly durable with 10 years of operational life.
The response time of the ethanol sensor is less than 15 seconds which makes it swift and robust.
The energy input required by the sensor to function is low (0mW at 0mV bias). This reduces the overall energy consumption and saves energy.
Individual calibration procures readings with the highest accuracy for the device the sensor is installed.
The sensor is free from the use of toxic & hazardous substances and is ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant.
Prana Air EtOH sensors work on the principle of the electrochemical gas sensing technique. The sensors are amperometric fuel cells and are designed to quantify gaseous toxin concentration.
There are three principal components in this sensor- a working or sensing electrode, a counter electrode, and an ion conductor acting as a bridge between the electrodes. The toxic EtOH gas is detected on the working electrode and gets oxidized with water molecules. This oxidation results in the formation of electrons and protons as by-products. Electric current is generated with a directional flow of electrons. The electric current generated gives the concentration of ethanol gas. It is used to detect alcohol level also.

Prana Air PM2.5 laser sensor is an industrial grade laser digital PM2.5 sensor. Built in laser and photoelectric receiving module, the principle of light scattering is adopted. The scattered light generated by laser on particles is transtormed from photoelectric receiving device to electrical signal, and then PM2.5 mass concentration and PM10 mass concentration are calculated by specific algorithm.
