Technology We Use In PM2.5 Dust Sensor
The Prana Air indoor PM2.5 sensor works on the 90° light scattering technique. The PAS-IN-01 sensor measures the levels of PM2.5 and PM10 in an indoor space. Air enters the sensor, and the particles meet the LASER beam that strikes the mirror aperture. The particles scatter light back toward the photodiode, which captures the light and creates a signal. This signal is then turned into particle count and mass.
