Guidelines for RMC Plants in Maharashtra, India

The plant or unit must monitor the ambient air quality at the boundary of its plot.
All ambient air quality standards must be met over a 24-hour average period.
The maximum allowed concentration for PM10 is set at 100 μg/m³.
The maximum allowed concentration for PM2.5 is set at 60 μg/m³.
Commercial RMC plants are required to install a CAAQMS on their own premises.
Captive plants must run full 24-hour ambient air quality tests twice a week.
RMC plants must fully comply with the Noise Pollution Rule of 2000 to limit noise pollution.
