Articleindoor pollution

The moment anyone mentions ‘air pollution’, the very thing which comes to our mind is the smoke from vehicular and industrial emissions. However, indoor air pollution is much more dangerous than the polluted air outside. We will discuss the importance of air purifier at different places.

That’s why there is a dire need to have indoor air purifiers at every place you go to. The main causes of pollutants found in indoors are dust, pet dander, pollen, mold, mites which give birth to plenty of health repercussions, such as skin allergy, headaches & other severe problems.

Indoors are pervaded with several toxic pollutants and harmful gases, such as radon gas, carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen dioxide & many more. Therefore, indoor Air Purifiers contain multi-filters to eradicate these pollutants from the air.

Importance of Air Purifier at different places:

Homes – Home is where people spend most of their time. Because of the inefficient cross-ventilation system, heating appliances, etc., the home has contaminated air with a variety of pollutants. It’s very important to have indoor air purifiers at home.

Offices – Most of the people of late work in an enclosed environment; buildings with no proper ventilation and airtight cabins. The reason behind it is to increase the efficiency of HVAC systems. Although the system renders air at a comfortable temperature, it fails to bring in the fresh air. This results in Sick Building Syndrome where employees succumb to severe health discomforts. An indoor air purifier can help restrain this syndrome and increase the level of productivity of the employees as well.

Schools – The quality of the air is badly affected in the schools as the environment is exposed to a lot of indoor & outdoor contaminants. Besides, children have less developed immune system, making them more vulnerable towards dangerous pollutants in the air. Classrooms in most of the schools are compact and cram-full which causes stagnant air full of pollutants. An indoor air purifier is the best solution to purify the indoor air.

Prana Air Indoor Purifier is equipped with a HEPA filter and activated carbon filter to efficiently clean the air by removing pollutants.
