Prana Air uses five core sensor types – laser, electrochemical, NDIR optical, PID and metal-oxide. These are cross-checked within each device. Our systems have been tested against Beta Attenuation Monitors (BAM), the industry standard. Research bodies such as NEERI and IIIT Hyderabad have tested them too. That ensures reliable data for compliance and research.

Every unit comes calibrated from the factory. Certificates for this can be provided on request. For CAAQMS systems, our technical team supports on-site zero-span and multi-point calibration with certified gases. Other models support remote fixes through the firmware. We advise a fresh calibration every 6 to 12 months, as per the setting of the site.

Many low-cost sensors fall short here. Prana Air devices make use of five cross-checked sensor types and dual PM inlets for internal checks. Yes. Our monitors are enclosed in an IP68-rated weatherproof housing. That is the highest standard of protection against dust and water. They are built to run non-stop in rain, fog, high humidity and dusty places, with the electronics kept well protected.

Yes. Select models such as the Prana Sense come with an in-built GPS antenna. This adds an exact location to every data point on its own. That is crucial for smart city tracking and construction projects where location-verified data logs are a must.

Our monitors feature dual-layer storage, with an internal Micro SD card slot for offline logging. In case the network fails, the device keeps storing readings locally. Once the connection is restored, all stored data is synced to the cloud on its own. That ensures a complete record without any gaps.

AQI.IN is our own air quality intelligence platform and the central data hub for all of our ambient systems. Data sent from the sensors is processed in the cloud. It is then shown on a professional web dashboard, on mobile apps and on a dedicated TV app for easy viewing in real time.

We offer three main modes of access. A web dashboard gives detailed history and report building. A mobile app gives real-time tracking and threshold alerts. A TV app displays live outdoor conditions on smart screens in offices or other public places, all day long.

Yes. We offer LED displays and Android TV set-ups meant for on-site viewing. Live metrics, including AQI and PM levels, can be shown non-stop on large outdoor boards or indoor screens at site entrances. That helps safety officers take quick action whenever pollution crosses the set limits.

Our monitors support several modes of connection. Wi-Fi suits urban sites. GSM (4G) suits remote or construction sites. RS-485 (MODBUS) links to SCADA or PLC systems in industry. LoRa serves long-range IoT networks. Local data backup is also kept on an SD card.

Yes. Through an RS-485 (MODBUS) link, our ambient monitors can be linked directly to SCADA, PLC and BMS platforms. This lets the facility respond on its own. For instance, dust suppression or ventilation can switch on once pollution limits are crossed.
